1988 Dakin Springtime Pails

Here is a very rare pair of 1988 Dakin Springtime Pails, complete with lids. These were originally sold containing candy and were undoubtedly gifted to excited children in their Easter baskets in the late '80s!

Each tin pail features beautiful spring/Easter graphics on both the lids and sides. The yellow pail has chicks wearing various fancy hats including a top hat and a cowboy hat. The lavender-colored pail has a rabbit, lamb, chick and duck as well as colorful flowers and Easter eggs. 

The pails are in great condition, with a little bit of wear on the edge of the lids and rim, and on the bottoms. They measure 3.5 inches in diameter (at the lid) and stand 4.5 inches tall to the top of the handle in the upright position.

These would make cute decorations for your Easter table and could of course be filled with delicious candy or fun trinkets.
