Antique Postcard Album

This is a wonderful antique postcard album from the early 1900s, made in Germany. The cover features an embossed scene with an Elk in a snowy mountain wilderness surrounded by trees. Below this, there are two purple embossed flowers and the text "Album." These are all set on a textured background that I believe is supposed to mimic stone to go with the winter scene at the top. Beautiful details!! "Germany" is embossed on the lower left hand corner of the cover.

Inside the album there are many green paper pages for holding postcards. The ones near the front have been used, since they are in rougher shape with some tears. As you get further into the book, the pages are in better and unused condition, with just some fading around the edges.

The album is large measuring 15.25" tall and 10" wide. There is a fair amount of wear inside and out, all consistent with being over 100 years old! This is a beautiful, detailed antique album that would be wonderful to pair with a postcard collection, old or new!
