This is a lovely example of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) made by Atterbury & Company in the late 1800s. This rectangular, footed dish is milk glass and the lace pattern around the edge is called "Dancing Sailor."

Atterbury & Co. is considered one of the first producers of milk glass and is particularly well known for its covered animal dishes. Later, other companies like Westmoreland and Fenton produced many dishes that used similar patterns to those originally made by Atterbury.

This dish is 10' long, 9" wide and 3 1/8" tall. It is in good condition, no chips or cracks. , just some light scratches and marks consistent with age.
