Mid-Century Hexagonal Matchbox

This vintage hexagon matchbox was made in Japan in the 1960s. Made from a sturdy cardboard, it is covered with decorative paper that has a simple Asian design. It once held long matches but is now empty. The bottom is covered with strike paper.

The box measures 11.25 inches tall and 2.25 inches wide and is in great condition.
