Pair of Large Vintage Felt-Flannel Merry Christmas Santa Stockings

This is a nice vintage pair of large Christmas stockings from the mid-century. One side is printed with images of Santa, a Christmas tree, ornaments and stars, while the other side says "Merry Christmas" with images of a ribbon and bells.

These originally came as a large piece of fabric which the purchaser could then cut out and sew together at home. The top edge has been decorated with a gold trim.

Each stocking is about 18" long and the opening at the top is 10" wide. They are in good condition.
