Podmore, Walker & Co. Multi-Color Pearl Stone Ware Plate in Venus Pattern

Here is an antique pearl stone ware plate made by Podmore, Walker & Company in England between 1834 and 1856. This plate is in their "Venus" pattern and it is multi-color. The center image which depicts a city, trees, people, an urn and a pair of swans is in black, while the border with a botanical vine design is in green.

The plate is 9.75" in diameter. Unfortunately it's not in the greatest condition. It has a crack and a chip on the rim on the front and another chip on the back of the rim. It would be a good piece for someone who is just getting in to collecting transferware pieces or it would make a nice display for someone who's doesn't mind that it isn't perfect.
