Porcelain Bone Dish with Pink & Brown Floral Design

Here is a pretty porcelain bone dish decorated with an intricate floral design featuring pink flowers with a brown stem and foliage. The edge of the dish is scalloped. The piece is unmarked. Bone dishes were popular around the turn of the century. Their crescent shape allowed them to be tucked in next to the dinner plate and provided a place to discard fish bones during the meal that kept them away from the rest of the food.

Measuring 6.5" by 3.5", the dish is in good condition.
