Vintage Handmade Embroidered Darning Bag

This is a wonderful handmade and embroidered darning bag. The drawstring bag is made from fabric with a fun floral print with colors of pink, cranberry, blues and greens and is cinched together with a red ribbon. There are deep outside pockets on the front and back for storing additional supplies. The front pocket features an embroidered image of a young boy holding a chamberstick with a lit candle, and has the text "Darn it! I'm Tired!"

The bag measures 14" tall by 16.5" wide and is in fair condition. Wear is consistent with age with some discoloring and wear on the edges. The red ribbon is fairly delicate and starting to fray a little. There are no holes or rips.

Would make an awesome and unique wall hanging in a sewing room for anyone who loves sewing and crafts.
